  • Organize the stripwood by size.  The 1/2 x 1/8 stripwood is thicker than the rest of the 1/2" stripwood... it's as thick as the 1" stripwood

  • Lay the ruler on the diagram exactly lined up with the angled end of the trim

  • Extend the trim's end-line up and down to make an "angle tracing guide"

  • Lay a piece of 1" trim on the diagram exactly lined up with the diagram's 1" trim

  • Line up the ruler with the angle tracing guide and mark the angle on the trim

  • Find the angle on the Attic Partition that lines up with the angle mark

  • Use the edge of the Attic Partition to guide the saw as you cut the angle

  • Measure the 12 1/16 for the length of the eave trim - don't use the diagram for this length... it prints a different length every time.
