  • Paint the Foundation after the Porches are attached (but not the Base Trim) Have the Front Steps ready but not attached. Foundation paint... the first coat is just paint

  • Protect the painted walls from the foundation paint

  • I use "lite" spackle for nail-hole filler and to smooth the end grain of the foundation-ends

  • RGT Stucco Grit has extra fortifiers so it's really tough on the foundations. Many people use the sand-paint additive avalilble at paint stores instead, or ceilings texture-paint.

  • Mix it with the foundation paint to get a thick gravy consistency

  • Apply with short swirls or slaps

  • When the Foundation Painting is done, glue on the Porch Base Trimstrips
