  • To back up the force of hammering, I will use a weight on the outside pressed against the wall.  This glass owl is heavy enough and is smooth on the back so it won't dent the wall

  • The whacker-backer on the outside of the wall and the tool in the eyelet - driving in the eyelet with the hammer.  Holding all three is difficult
