Details |
Tapewire is easy to find in an empty room with the light coming flat along a wall, but in a decorated room or with diffuse lighting, it is hard to see and harder still to know exactly where the conductors are. |

| But a piece of paper taped to the wall and then rubbed gently with a soft pencil can give an exact picture of the tapewire and eyelets. |

| When you can see the conductors and the eyelets, you can inspect the accuracy of all your connections looking for ones that are suspicious. You can also use a needle to make a test connection alongside an eyelet to see if that illuminates the testlight. See "Restore an Eyelet Connection" (at left). |
